The IT Systems Administrator program provides students with the conceptual knowledge and practical experiences needed to create, maintain, troubleshoot and expand today’s complex networking systems.
The program is made up of six courses. Training begins with the fundamentals; working hands on to support workstations and servers. As students become more familiar with computer hardware and networking components, they are taught to install and configure Microsoft Windows operating systems. Students are also given the opportunity to create both wired and wireless networks and to configure, manage and troubleshoot critical network services.
Later courses provide students with the opportunity to create and configure Active Directory domains, implement security strategies, and configure server hardware, and monitor domain performance to deliver optimal business level networking services.
Upon completion of each course, graduates are qualified to take a computerized certification exam with CompTIA and Microsoft. Upon passing the appropriate certification exam, our graduates will earn the CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification along with the Microsoft MCTS and the MCITP Server Administrator certification.
MyComputerCareer-TechSkills has a flexible learning model which allows students to attend 12 to 24 hours per week and progress on an individual basis.
