The database training program at TechSkills equips you with the skills to design, operate, maintain and troubleshoot Oracle databases or Microsoft SQL Server databases. Available database training programs include:
Microsoft Certifications for IT Professionals: Database Administrator (MCITP-DBA)
Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist: SQL Server 2005
Oracle10g Certified Professional Database Administrator (OCP DBA)
Oracle10g Certified Associate (OCA)
The MCITP-DBA is the premier certification for database server administrators. In this program, you’ll gain the database training to install or configure Microsoft SQL Server and manage or maintain databases or multidimensional databases, user accounts, database availability, recovery, and reporting; and the skills to design or implement security or server automation and monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server activity.
The MCTS: SQL Server 2005 credential qualifies you to implement and maintain databases using specific instructions and specifications. You’ll gain thorough product knowledge, an understanding of how to use the tools and Transact-SQL language, and know-how to explore the user interface. After completing their database training, Technology Specialists typically pursue careers as database administrators, database developers, or business intelligence developers.
Oracle OCA DBA certification offers an extensive introduction to data server technology, covering the administration concepts of the Oracle 10g relational database and the SQL query language.
I had decided to enroll at another school, but before committing I investigated other area schools. TechSkills offered more convenience, my own Instructor, an internship program where I'd get real-world experience, and TechSkills was more affordable.

I work at my own pace, the TechSkills staff is great, the atmosphere is friendly, and it’s good hands-on training.
